~ Luke 18:16

Liturgy of the Word for Children

This liturgical enrichment program for children aged 4-8 years takes place during the Liturgy of the Word portion of the 10am Sunday Mass. Facilitators enable the children to become more familiar with the scripture readings and basic liturgical prayers and hymns. They also lead child-friendly discussions of the readings of the day. This program offers our younger children the opportunity to hear the Sunday scriptures in language they can understand and helps them to understand how the Gospel message relates to their everyday experiences. Parent involvement is very much encouraged and welcomed

We are currently seeking more parents who are willing to assist with this program, both as helpers and as facilitators. Please contact Pastoral Associate, Beverly LaBelle at 271-7240 or e-mail her at if you wish to volunteer or simply to learn more about this program.
