Blossom South Nursing Home is at 1175 Monroe Ave. We hold a weekly Communion Service for the residents on Sundays at 11:00AM. We have teams of two that prepare and lead this service. You are responsible for setting up the altar, preparing and offering the Sunday Readings, and Prayers and distributing Holy Communion to the people at the service and those in their rooms who can not attend the service.
Requirements:
- Creating a Safe Environment training is required
- Communion Minister preparation and training
- You must be in good standing with the parish.
- Training is available to learn how to lead the service.
